The Sony Ericsson PC Suite is a free software application that enhances the functionality of your Sony Ericsson mobile phone.
The Sony Ericsson PC Suite connects your phone to your computer so you can synchronise and manage your personal data (such as calendar and contact information) and connect your computer to the Internet via the phone.
Just download the file to a temporary folder on your PC. It is recommended that you uninstall any previously installed version of the Sony Ericsson PC Suite. Execute the downloaded file. If you are updating to a newer version of the Sony Ericsson PC Suite, you may need to restart the PC after the new installation is completed.

The Sony Ericsson PC Suite consists of these components:
• Sony Ericsson File Manager. Allows you to browse content from the phone's file system and exchange multimedia files between the phone and the PC.
• Sony Ericsson Image Editor. Allows you to crop, zoom and rotate, and adjust colour, contrast and brightness settings for many PC image file formats that you then can send directly to your phone.
• Sony Ericsson MMS Home Studio. Allows you to create MMS templates on your PC and then download them directly to your phone.
• Sony Ericsson Mobile Networking Wizard. Helps you create dial-up networking connections on your personal computer. Now also includes an easy-connect button.
• Sony Ericsson Sync Station. Program for synchronising your Microsoft Outlook (contacts, calendar, notes and tasks), Outlook Express (contacts) or Windows Address Book with your Sony Ericsson mobile phone.

Installation instructions:
- Download the file to a temporary folder on your PC.
- It is recommended that you uninstall any previously installed version of the Sony Ericsson PC Suite.
- Execute the downloaded file.
- If you are updating to a newer version of the Sony Ericsson PC Suite, you may need to restart the PC after the new installation is completed.

Requirements:
- Choose any of the following connections that are applicable for your phone: Cable, Infrared or Bluetooth connection.
- Microsoft Outlook/Lotus Notes/Lotus Organizer
- At least 100 MB free hard disk space
- Windows ME, 2000 SP4, XP SP2 (Professional and Home)
- DirectX 9.0c (if not included in your OS, download it from Microsoft)

There are a little ways of distribution of viruses, and knowing them, it is possible to secure the mobil'nik ot penetration of the vredonosnykh programs.

Bluetooth-connection. All vehicles, supporting this type, constantly scan space in search of devices for connection, forming networks and sending the infected files «on air». And here the basic feature of mobile troyan comes to an user help to inquire the consent of user to the program loading. It is possible only to advise more attentive to read questions on the screen mobile and not to load unknown files.

MMS-message. On mobile forums quite often lay out the broken up programs and games for mobile, quite often infected viruses. And here is nothing simpler, than to get these programs (and also any others) on a desktop computer and check their usual antivirus. And only then to unite on a favourite telephone.
What to do, if did a virus already get on mobile? How to ward off possible penetration of virus? For this purpose there are a few programs which are in an archive.

Garmin Mobile XT 5.00.40 S60 FULL (5800/N95/E71...)

Tested and reported by members here to be fully working with the following devices (as long as my own 5800)

Instructions to install: (French ones are in the archive):

_Plug your phone and use the mass storage/usb mode (not the PC Suite one !!!).
_Then copy those folders (Garmin,Private,Resource,Sys) from the main archive to the root of your device (E:\).
_Copy them one by one, otherwise you'll get a "Corrupted apps" error.(1)
_Unplug your phone, wait a few seconds and it will tell you that the app wasn't installed, it's normal.

_Go to your phone's app manager and finally install Garmin.
_Run it and get your personnal CardID in Tools->Settings->About.
_Write it down and close Garmin.

_On your computer, run the provided keygen and enter your CardID at the top (Enter your Unit ID here) then generate your unlock code.
_Copy/paste it into notepad and save this file (without any extension!) as "SW.UNL".
_Don't close the keygen and at the bottom in the "Map Product" dropdown field select and enter "378" in the 1st field (FID).
_Copy/paste it into notepad and save this file (without any extension!) as "GMAPSUPP.UNL".

_Now copy those "GMAPSUPP.UNL" and "SW.UNL" files into the Garmin folder of your phone.
_Copy the unlocked map of your choice (GMAPSUPP.IMG) in the same folder (E:\Garmin).
_That's it, off you go! Just remember to turn on only the "Onboard/Phone GPS" in your phone's GPS settings to avoid beeing charged.
_This way, the 1st sat fix might take a little bit longer to get but it works i've installed it on 5 Nokia5800 phones.

If you ever get this warning, remove all previous folders and start again, it will work.
